‘98 Club Car DS Windshield
Package arrived on time. The windshield was wrapped in a clear protective coating that kept it from scratches during shipment. After removing the coating, the acrylic was crystal clear with no defects. I bought the tinted version and it looks great. No issues driving at night at all. The instructions were good. I did have a bit of trouble getting the windshield into the bottom brackets. They kept slipping off the aluminum roof support as I pushed it into the brackets. Maybe I was pushing too hard.
I have the older style supports and the windshield was a perfect fit. Fat Cat had the best price on the internet. Very satisfied with all levels of service.
I would recommend that Fat Cat add the model years for proper fit to the description to go along with the picture. -

Great Fit
The box was very protective and the kit had all the parts packaged. It would have been beneficial to have a video link or a basic one sheet instruction, but it went very easy on install..

Excellent installation compared to...
This windshield replaced an existing windshield several years old. I much prefer the fit and attachment mechanism for the fatcat. Fatcat uses six small (3 in or so) attachment clips. They are easy to install and have rubber "teeth" in the slots to secure the shield. By comparison, my old shield had 4 clips, one over a foot long. The old clips would not remove without breaking. They also did not have the rubber teeth. thus allowing the shield to easily slide within the mounts, causing the shield to hit when folding/unfolding.
